| Hi Ken, Q: While preparing a more indepth analysis image, I came to realize that unless readers have a background in engineering drawing and rotation of 2D lines in 3D represented space, that it likely will not be meaningful to them R: Why not keep both pictures? I'm a dumb blond, but I had no problem noticing the differences... Perhaps this will be inspirational @ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hOleG2F6U64 Keep up the good work. It more accurately reflects the ship's apparent orientation in 3D space, and points out several more flaws in the image. The image with a purely graphical analysis contains a somewhat messy bunch of lines that treat the image as a perspective drawing and then show a rotation of the lines for a side-view that strongly suggests the bow is about 90 degrees vertical. Using this technique on a photo -- especially a blurred photo -- is not foolproof; but it usually gets you in the ballpark -- based on several experimental analyses I've conducted. Thus, in an effort to ensure that I don't imply accuracy where it does not exist, I softened my claim beyond simply using the word "appears." Anybody who's familiar with Liberty's design or carefully compares the "gun camera" image to actual images of Liberty can't help but see the gross differences -- especially when aided by the marked-up image. | | | | DanielDives | | Posted: Thu Aug 07, 2008 5:19 pm Post subject: |
| Hi Ken, How to deal with individuals who's life is founded in 2D reality. while every human being is blessed with 3D perspective? Watered down whine tastes like it's watered down. I prefer purity, regardless whether it's my taste. Semantics. Ken. That's what all this is about. Any congresswo/man would have opted to stand up for this simple thing called justice. 41 years. Ken. Where are these wo/men? Where are those we pay for and who're supposed to represent us, 'we the people.' the men who were aboard the USS Liberty? My hearts bleeding, but my spirit will never surrender. Stick to the truth... Stick to honesty. Most cordially, Daniel | | | | Cowboy | | Posted: Fri Aug 08, 2008 8:28 pm Post subject: |
