I have no problem understanding the concept of various interpretations of the same concept, for such i human nature.
It may be hard to imagine [coz you've never been in a ral combat situation], but things can get a bit hazy and blurry when rockets and bombs are flying all over th place and peopel around you are dead, dying ans/or wounded.
The crux of the matter is, Israel did attack the USS Liberty. That fact is a fire you can't douse no matter how long you piss on it.
You seem to keep forgetting this 'aacident' was a collision, it lasted for over an hour and was executed by various air and naval elements.
Once evertything surrounding this attack has been dragged out of obscurity and is out in the open [an open court], I'll be happy to be proven wrong.
