You have a reputation of having served in the forces. During that time were you ever ordered to do something that you didn't want to do or that you did not think was right? Or did you know of anyone in the forces who was so ordered?
The crewmembers were not willing to lie under oath, they were ordered to lie under oath and as good American naval officers and seamen they obeyed orders. These orders came from very senior officers. Forty years on and discharged from the Navy they are free to tell the truth and this is what you fear the most Cowboy, the strong possibility that these men will come out and tell the truth for the first time in four decades. The crewmembers have been separated from the Navy for many decades. They would have been free to make such an accusation, but not a single one has.
