Why?, like the crew and familes and many many others, an honest and open Congressional investigation is needed on the crew's terms to achieve justice and answere the questions. Again , if it was an "accident', what is there to fear? .
Records are still sealed, Capt. Boston , lead counsel and investigator said the report publicly shown was changed from the one he submitted, he was also ordered to "predetermine" the outcome for obvious political reasons.
Yet you here you are ignoring the crew's genuine grievances and search for the truth for forty years.
You use carefully selected minutiae out of any complete accounting ever being done which more than substantiate the crew and families' claims of a cover-up.
Torpedo boats couldn't see the LARGE letters and military designation. Unique in all the world exclusive to the US Navy at that time and yet still fired because it was an animal transport carrier?, a 40 year rusty relic half the Liberty's size which had Arabic markings. And they fired and fired, nevermind all IDF participants of this attack ore ordered to remain silent about a so-called "accident" despite evidence concluding anything of the kind.
