| Hello Buttercup, You are responsible for the spell checker, thanks - the forum needed one badly. I suggest you train your computer to follow at least a few basic commands - I always start with the ENTER key and, depending on the processing power, move on through the numerics before tackling the alphabet. I too share your interest in boats, though mine sail from many ports. But I'm suspending this hobby to brush up on my Shakespeare, since I have been assigned the lead in MacBeth. So tell me, what does my future hold in store - apart from a rapid nationality shift? | | | | Saint | | Posted: Sat Aug 03, 2002 6:19 am Post subject: |

| Good Evening Saint, Indeed yes, and I of all people should remember that shouldn't I. Today I was thinking of when, we watched the Disney cruise liner leave. It was dusk, and she was a blaze of light, going very slowly. She was playing the Disney theme song......When you Wish upon a Star.....and we could hear this very clearly wafting across the water. The Fire Work display from her stern was truly spectacular. As far as I know she is now cruising in the Bahamas. and there are not any plans for her to return to England. | | | | GoldenButtercup | | Posted: Sat Aug 03, 2002 7:11 pm Post subject: |
| Good Evening A.T. Sorry for leaving you so abruptly earlier, but this machine was playing up badly. Abut 2 ish I realised that Dinner and been missed, so cooked breakfast. Glad you like the spell checker, wonder how I managed that. Train a computer A.T. ....me.....no....others can do that. I can train dogs though, on reflection, viewing this hound, perhaps tis the other way round So you intend to tread the boards do you, that really is good fun.very enjoyable. Going back to my boats, have you tried Kite Surfing,? The future, A.T. to be a good actor, takes a lot of hard work as I am sure you are aware. but the end product is more than worth it. | | | | FoxtrotAlpha | | Posted: Sat Aug 03, 2002 7:53 pm Post subject: |

| Hello Buttercup, Please don't apologise for matters beyond your control. Machinery may not be your first joy but I am impressed at your ability to adapt when required. I didn't peg you as a critic but I'm happy to take all advice on board. As you know, I have several interests, some worldly, and I freely admit that this makes me more of a jack of all trades rather than a master of any particular discipline. Do you think this will impede my career as a thespian? I will devour your expertise in this field as eagerly as the product of the recipes you present, should you be good enough to offer assistance. I haven't actually tried kite surfing although I have seen it done. It always struck me as enriching so long as the lifeline held firm. I suppose the same can be said of Disney, their kite bing colourful but perhaps constructed of inferior material. I feel the price of this sport is a little too great for my taste. Despite your missed dinner appointment, and I trust your mood has recovered from the disappointment, can I wander less serious avenues - changing the subject in the bargain - and ask of you a favour? I have followed your theories, all of which have merit, but often wondered how they might be aligned. Is there a big picture? Can it all be about oil or do men fall subject to a more basic instinct when living with the burden of power? | | | | Albany | | Posted: Sun Aug 04, 2002 12:15 am Post subject: |
| | Anyone know what anyone here is on about? Weird rap. Are you 2 married or what? | | | | GoldenButtercup | | Posted: Sun Aug 04, 2002 12:42 am Post subject: |
| Good Morning A.T. You tie me up in riddles A.T. you really do. when have I ever been critical of you? Go on, tell me, see you cannot, because I have not. I didn't realise we were in for a career change, I had thought it was to be merely a hobby. Now A.T. do not make insinuations I do not have any expertise in this field. but yes I do have a very keen interest in live theatre. John Thaw was one of my favourites A very gifted man. Is it the Viennese Opera House I mean, the beautiful building, that I would love to go to. but then again would be just as happy at the Concert in the Park. Yes this kite surfing, A.T. you are strapped into a harness, so you cannot come to much harm. at least I do not think so. Of course there is a broader picture. You know that as well as I do. Have you noticed the viewing numbers have increased.? | | | | Anglo Thug | | Posted: Sun Aug 04, 2002 9:29 am Post subject: |
| Theatre critic, Buttercup - theatre critic. So relax. We may have accidentally crossed swords in the dark. This broader picture is a subject I am greatly interested in. Can you sketch out your ideas? Now I have to prepare a traditional English breakfast, cast a cynical eye over the newspapers and then post up the daily 'news'. | | | | GoldenButtercup | | Posted: Sun Aug 04, 2002 11:15 am Post subject: |
| Hello A.T. Yep I love a full English breakfast. Freshly squeezed orange juice,Egg, bacon, mushrooms, black pudding, grilled tomatoes. etc etc. I also include a slice of apple, barely cooked but warmed through. Not over fond of marmalade but will eat it. My reading matter today consists of Brzezinski, Rockerfellow, and O'Neill and the links I have accumulated during the week. That is apart from the house and garden, and you wait, some one will interrupt me and haul me off some where. Plans apart from Oil and my beloved pipe line. Well now, some of my thoughts, are due to logical deductions (at least in my view) taking into account all known and provable facts. others very hard to explain. but I always remember that once the world was thought to be flat. | | | | | ©2002-2009 WarWithoutEnd.co.uk |
