| Remember that "conspiracy theory rubbish"? I think this has relevance for today: American WWII Prison Camp Survivors Sue U.S. Gov't July 29 CHICAGO (Reuters) - A group of American survivors of brutal World War II Japanese prison camps in the Philippines filed a lawsuit in federal court Monday accusing the U.S. government of intentionally sacrificing them in 1941 to give the United States justification to enter the war..... http://abcnews.go.com/wire/US/reuters20020729_399.html Also see: http://whatreallyhappened.com/McCollum/index.html | | | | Guest | | Posted: Tue Jul 30, 2002 11:42 am Post subject: |
| It goes further than that Saint....Once the Japanese had atttaced and the US forces with their Filipino allies were trapped in Coregadoor and Battan, Mcarthur was brought out..That was for obvious reasons..couldnt have a famed commander of his ilk taken out this early in the war by Japs. But the rest of troops knew their fight would go on. They fully expected if not relief, at least supply but were abandoned, simple as that. Abandoned. Cant remember the politicians name at the time from States but Ill find it...Who on speaking in private about these guys...Stated...Sometimes you just gotta die.....Well not him...think he meant the troops..not himself in his little political world. Wake island...Directly after Pearl Harbour....Marines put up the only really spirtied fight of the early days of the US war...Old signal famous now of asked what their immediate needs were..send more japs...boosted USA morale at the time...They too could have been relieved...A task force was on route..Carrier and troop ships...one day out whilst the marines and cilivlian workers were fighting hand to hand...The task force commander on own initiative...turned back and left them...Yank commanders went mad...Now they have a reason to sue....Sounds just like Liberty in 67...Planes scrambled...on route to help..called back...What is it with the yanks and protecting their own boys? | | | | Anglo Thug | | Posted: Tue Jul 30, 2002 11:54 am Post subject: |
| | They are not 'their own boys.' They are poor Americans who can't afford to avoid service. Big, big difference. | | | | Guest | | Posted: Thu Aug 01, 2002 5:34 pm Post subject: |

Makes up for the ones lost in Falklands war. Mr. Blair are you watching your closest allies? Oh why should you care...Your lad wont be in the next batch. | | | | | ©2002-2009 WarWithoutEnd.co.uk |
