Dear Liberals,
I hope that most of your anger is directed at the so-called liberals for the role they have played in South Africa's destruction. Don't blame the S.A. Police for the crime rate. Blame urbanization and unemployment and Aids. I never defended Apartheid per se. All I was saying is that Apartheid prevented the above: urbanization and unemployment and Aids. You cannot fight these three when there is no law and order. When they got rid of apartheid they threw the baby out with the bathwater ie they got rid of law and order.

I can well understand the fury and frustration you feel for the plight of South Africa. If only, if only, the liberals had stopped to think first. The plight of South Africa is on their conscience - that includes the hundreds of babies who have been raped because the umtagati says that is the only cure for Aids. No Liberal in the UK who helped to destroy the Afrikaner government deserves a single night's peaceful rest.

This was a response to an email sent to me by someone who then blocked me so that I could not reply. I hope it makes sense to whoever reads it. Many people live in terror in South Africa as the result of the destruction of law and order. British liberals who fought apartheid bear a large chunk of the responsibility for the lawlessness and poverty there now. I wonder why Peter Hain MP looks so unwell lately. Could it be a guilty conscience brought on by sudden understanding?

Of course SA will never see law and order again will they. For as long as they have blacks in the government that is. Isn't that right Fumblefoot? (Or should that be foot in mouth?) These blacks aren't capable of organising law and order - EVER in your opinion. So let's get back to the good old days where us whites (that means you and your ilk Fumblefoot) ruled the roost with an iron rod. Then we'll show these blacks what law and order's all about!

Actually Steffan it was law and order for everyone. The SAP was not just a tool for political oppression. Some people are happy to countenance baby rapes and thousands of murders as long as the country is politically 'free'.

I wish you would go there Steffan and see for yourself. But you would probably rather not. Perhaps you belong to the breed that prefers to talk crap in front of the TV to going out there and seeing first hand.

Ive probably seen more of South Africa and its people and conditions than you have.

Regulary travel there, at leat twice a year. Next trip in September hopefully, To the Cape wine lands for a week, then off to Namibia for a 4x4 trek.

Over the years Ive spent winter months in the Transvaal been in me shorts in temperatures of 21-22 degrees in Pretoria, done the Durban sights and sounds, been in Cape town in the snow, trekked through Nataal, and not as a tourist.

Seen the crime in Joberg, the friendly people in the surrounding townships, spent time with locals black and white, and apart from a few Boers, they live an uncomplaining life with a zest for turning their rainbow naion into one of the major powers of the world..and they will get there...The moaners of course leave. Others mostly the young follow the example of the Aussies, and New Zealanders, and come to UK for gap years and add to this countries understanding...you should try talking to them, visit one of the chains of South African bars, popping up all over the UK. They love their country and go back to it after their tour is up...The detractors of course will stay. The rest accept the change and will work for the betterment of ALL its populace. And are proud to be South African. You stay where you are in front of YOUR tv and moan..and tell us all about a South Africa from your distant past that no longer exists.

But then again, Sharpsville was done for the peoples own good, as too were the many township killings and deaths in custody...You miss it lots...its obvious. It dont exist anymore..get on with your life.
