| hello folks
it is I FUNGALFOOT the first and one and only. I know you would all like to think that I have been cloned many times over but alas it is not possible as I have one extra gene which cannot be sub-divided. This extra gene is responsible for making me a genius.
Some unfriendly types have been having a go at my good friend Goldie.
Accusing her of being me. I assure you that Goldie is Goldie and I am me.
But knowing some of the elements on this board this will be taken as confirmation that she is me and I am she. Well believe whatever you like but don't give Goldie a hard time or I will come looking for you.
Actually I only joined in order to say goodbye. I am leaving AOL. If I can access this board from NTL then you will see more of me but somehow I don't consider that likely. But I may be back in the autumn if I have the time. (I am embarking on a course of study)

| I see there is no change in your condition Fungal. Yes, you can access this site from any service provider including NTL. Post here by all means, that's what an open forum is all about, but leave the friends at home and we'll all benefit, yourself included.

Hello Thug, I am ashamed of myself. I have been a bit hyper at the thought of leaving AOL and I have allowed my exuberance to swamp your board. Everything I said was in fact intended for the other board.
I have never been able to understand this common fixation with multiple screen names as though it were a thing that I am addicted to. I assure you that I am an honest man.
It is true there are clones of my screen names out there. But I do not care. It will in no way affect my resolve and steadfast determination to play with a straight bat; from now on. The owners of these clones can do what they will. I suspect they have been placed into early retirement which in itself is a testimony to my own honesty and that I am indeed a reformed character.
I apologize for my swashbuckling tone and complete lack of humility. I feel I have not made a good start. I am sorry for my rudeness and will try to be a nice person from now on. I was surprised by the strength of feeling which my departure from the other board evoked in some people who I once considered friends. Never mind there can be no pain where there is no sense. But from now on I will endeavour to be a sensible individual.
If you see me slipping from these high ideals I ask you Thug to remind me of this undertaking.
No more the fool.

Fungal, I'm not responsible for your behaviour - you are. Also, as I keep reminding people, other than taking the role of ensuring that this forum functions correctly, I am just a participant here like everyone else.
