| /media/india1.htm A letter to Tony Blair's War Government will follow shortly. | | | | Anglo Thug | | Posted: Mon Jun 10, 2002 1:18 pm Post subject: |
| I'm holding off on this letter until we can see for sure whether Blair has really banned this sale or whether it has been put back. Knowing the Blair administration the deal will be pushed through during a major terror attack or rail crash. This isn't as cynical as it might sound given the government's track record. Meanwhile, the page below from the BBC is revealing. It seems that some 'people' are actually in favour of selling death provided British jobs are protected. It doesn't really get any sicker. One can only wonder what the attitude of these greedy monsters would be if it was their kids in the firing line. Until the sickness of self interest within our society is purged we cannot claim to be a civilised nation. This is, in fact, a barbaric nation saved only by a body of concerned citizens who strive to educate our deaf leaders and greed driven businessmen (plus the silently disinterested masses) in the realities of humanitarianism. Anyone who supports the sale of armaments, to anyone, is an accomplice in state sponsored murder, or attempted manslaughter at least. This is a simple fact than cannot be spun away by economic rhetoric. Anyone who actually works in the arms industry earns blood money on a daily basis. Another simple fact that cannot be denied by economic excuses or spurious claims regarding competition and supply. On a positive note, there are some great messages on the BBC site that explain away many of the myths and the propaganda so easily swallowed by those who pay more attention to their bank balances than the seemingly inexorable social and moral decline we are witnessing daily. http://news.bbc.co.uk/hi/english/talking_point/newsid_2012000/2012255.stm | | | | | ©2002-2009 WarWithoutEnd.co.uk |
