| U.S. Staging Nukes for Iran? By Larry Johnson 09/06/07 " Booman Tribune" -- -Why the hubbub over a B-52 taking off from a B-52 base in Minot, North Dakota and subsequently landing at a B-52 base in Barksdale, Louisiana? That’s like getting excited if you see postal worker in uniform walking out of a post office. And how does someone watching a B-52 land identify the cruise missiles as nukes? It just does not make sense. So I called a old friend and retired B-52 pilot and asked him. What he told me offers one compelling case of circumstantial evidence. My buddy, let’s call him Jack D. Ripper, reminded me that the only times you put weapons on a plane is when they are on alert or if you are tasked to move the weapons to a specific site. Then he told me something I had not heard before. Barksdale Air Force Base is being used as a jumping off point for Middle East operations. Gee, why would we want cruise missile nukes at Barksdale Air Force Base. Can’t imagine we would need to use them in Iraq. Why would we want to preposition nuclear weapons at a base conducting Middle East operations? His final point was to observe that someone on the inside obviously leaked the info that the planes were carrying nukes. A B-52 landing at Barksdale is a non-event. A B-52 landing with nukes. That is something else. Now maybe there is an innocent explanation for this? I can’t think of one. What is certain is that the pilots of this plane did not just make a last minute decision to strap on some nukes and take them for a joy ride. We need some tough questions and clear answers. What the hell is going on? Did someone at Barksdale try to indirectly warn the American people that the Bush Administration is staging nukes for Iran? I don’t know, but it is a question worth asking. There are reports that Vice President Dick Cheney's office has issued instructions to conservative think tanks to start a drumbeat for attacking Iran. On Monday the American Enterprise Institute is hosting two events related to Iran. Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich is giving a speech on how the war on terrorism should be viewed as a "a world war that pits civilization against terrorists and their state sponsors who wish to impose a new dark age." Later in the day former CIA director Jim Woolsey and others will meet to discuss a new book by longtime Iran hawk Michael Leeden titled "The Iranian Time Bomb: The Mullah Zealots" Quest for Destruction." The Heritage Foundation recently hosted an interagency Bush administration war game attempting to anticipate Iranian responses to a U.S. bombing campaign. Meanwhile the Sunday Times of London has reported the Pentagon has drawn up plans for massive air strikes against twelve hundred targets in Iran, designed to annihilate the Iranians' military capability in three days. The main source of the article was an official at another conservative Washington think tank – the Nixon Center. They made two appearances in Washington , DC on September 5, addressing packed audiences at the Cosmos Club and at the city's famous bookstore, Politics and Prose. The response was overwhelmingly positive. At the Cosmos Club event, which I attended, the authors addressed two questions: Is there an Israel Lobby? (Walt) and Is the Lobby's impact positive or negative? (Mearsheimer). The object was to bear out the thesis of their book, that such a lobby does exist (which had been preposterously denied by Martin Indyk and Dennis Ross in a debate a year earlier at Cooper Union in New York City), and that it has worked extremely well, often to the detriment of both American and Israeli interests. Walt told the audience how the initial reaction to the article in the London Review of Books in March 2006 had prompted a vociferous response, one that was often laced with charges of anti-Semitism, none of which was true, and "sloppy scholarship", a charge aimed at demeaning and dismissing the views of the authors. But the response by interested people has been significant. According to the webmaster at the Harvard University website where the longer version of the article was posted, it had been downloaded 265,000 times as of July 2006. The lobby's successes in congressional hallways have come by wielding a heavy axe, often forcing nervous congressional representative to realize that criticism aimed at Israel would likely result in electoral defeat at the polls. The lobby's ability to steer money to their electoral opponents was among the tools the Lobby used without hesitation. In this, it was perhaps no different than other lobbies, which as Walt averred, were "as American as apple pie." And yet, the Israel Lobby's agenda, Mearsheimer stated, has led the United States into an alliance with Israel that in the long run undermines both the strategic interests of the United States in the Middle East as Israel 's own interests within that region. It has also led the American government to hold positions that are not only opposed by the majority of Americans polled - for example, on Jewish settlements in Gaza and the West Bank, on the continued occupation of the West Bank - but also by most peoples in the world. In a post-colonial world, it has tolerated Israel to construct colonies in the West Bank . There is no doubt, Mearsheimer said, that the treatment of the Palestinians by the Israelis was among the reasons that led to the 9/11 attacks, and to continues attacks on American interests. There is also no doubt that, whatever leaders of the Israeli government may have thought, the Lobby solidly backed neoconservative efforts to promote the war on Iraq, which has produced nothing but continued death, destruction, and turmoil in the Middle East, to neither American nor Israeli strategic interests in the area, nor the welfare of the people in the region. Whatever else happens with the book, the authors concluded, their hope is that it would open up the debate on Israel and the American policy in the Middle East , and move the United States to adopt more sensible policies there. The 355 page book is backed up by an additional 108 pages of footnotes. Mearsheimer and Stephen M. Walt 484 pages. Farrar, Straus & Giroux. $26. “The Israel Lobby and U.S. Foreign Policy” arrives carrying heavy baggage. John J. Mearsheimer, a political scientist at the University of Chicago, and Stephen M. Walt, a professor of international affairs at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard, set off a furor last year by arguing, in an article that appeared in The London Review of Books, that uncritical American support for Israel, shaped by powerful lobbying organizations like the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, does grave harm to both American and Israeli interests. A bitter debate has raged ever since, with accusations of anti-Semitism leveled by, among others, Alan M. Dershowitz, the Harvard law professor, and Abraham H. Foxman, the national director of the Anti-Defamation League, one of the principal lobbying organizations taken to task by Mr. Mearsheimer and Mr. Walt. “The Israel Lobby,” an extended, more fully argued version of the London Review article, has done nothing to calm the waters. The authors have been barred from making appearances by at least one university and several cultural centers to discuss their subject, and continue to reap a whirlwind of criticism and abuse. If they were looking for a fight, they have found it. Slowly, deliberately and dispassionately Mr. Mearsheimer and Mr. Walt lay out the case for a ruthlessly realistic Middle East policy that would make Israel nothing more than one of many countries in the region. On those occasions when Israel’s interests coincide with America’s, it should count on American support, but otherwise not. What Americans fail to understand, the authors argue, is that most of the time the two countries’ interests are opposed. The reason they do not realize this, Mr. Mearsheimer and Mr. Walt insist, can be explained quite simply: The Israel lobby makes sure of it. Working closely with members of Congress, public-policy organizations and journals of opinion, energetic, well-financed groups like the American Israel Public Affairs Committee and the American Jewish Committee, along with dozens of political-action committees, perpetuate the myth, as the authors see it, of Israel as an isolated, beleaguered state surrounded by enemies and in need of America’s unstinting financial and military support. This lobby is particularly adept at stifling debate before it begins, the authors argue. “Whether the issue is abortion, arms control, affirmative action, gay rights, the environment, trade policy, health care, immigration or welfare, there is almost always a lively debate on Capitol Hill,” they write. “But where Israel is concerned, potential critics fall silent and there is hardly any debate at all.” There is nothing underhanded or devious about this, the authors say. Like the National Rifle Association or the AARP, the Israel lobby relies on the traditional political weapons available to any special-interest group in pressing its agenda. It just happens to be unusually skillful and effective. “It is simply a powerful interest group, made up of both Jews and gentiles, whose acknowledged purpose is to press Israel’s case within the United States and influence American foreign policy in ways that its members believe will benefit the Jewish state,” they write. The problem, Mr. Mearsheimer and Mr. Walt argue, is that Israel has become a strategic liability with the end of the cold war and a moral pariah in its dealings with the Palestinians and, most recently, the Lebanese. Uncritical American support for its closest Middle East ally has damaged American credibility in the Arab world, encouraged terrorism, stymied the search for a solution to the Palestinian problem, and in every way made America’s international position weaker and more dangerous. Coolly, not to say coldly, Mr. Mearsheimer and Mr. Walt mount a prosecutorial brief against Israel’s foreign and domestic policies, and against the state of Israel itself. They describe a virtual rogue state, empowered by American wealth and might, that blocks peace at every turn, threatens its cowering neighbors with impunity, crushes the national aspirations of the Palestinians and, whenever the opportunity arises, bites the hand that feeds it. Working tirelessly in the background is the Israel lobby, playing Iago to America’s Othello, leading president after president down ever more dangerous paths. Without intense pressure from the Israel lobby, the authors argue, America would not have undertaken the war in Iraq. Most American readers will bristle at the authors’ characterization of Israel. This is to be expected, Mr. Mearsheimer and Mr. Walt argue, because of the completely false image of Israel and its history that has been manufactured by the Israel lobby. As a result, Americans completely misinterpret the Palestinian issue and fail to support a productive policy that would tilt away from Israel and toward the Palestinians. The authors state, on several occasions, their belief that Israel has a moral and legal right to exist, but the effect of their book is to leave it dangling by a moral and strategic thread. In essence they call for the United States to cut Israel loose, to return more or less to American policy before the 1967 war, when the United States tried to occupy a middle ground between Israel and its Arab neighbors. Strangely, the authors do not itemize the fabulous benefits delivered by this approach in the 1950s and ’60s. It is a little odd that so chilly a book should generate such heat. Most of Mr. Mearsheimer and Mr. Walt’s arguments are familiar ones, and it is hardly inflammatory to point out that the major Jewish organizations tend to take a much tougher line on, say, a two-state solution to the Palestinian problem, the Iraq war or settlements in the West Bank, than most American Jews favor. The writers stand on eminently defensible ground when they argue for a more constructive, creative American role in peace talks. The general tone of hostility to Israel grates on the nerves, however, along with an unignorable impression that hardheaded political realism can be subject to its own peculiar fantasies. Israel is not simply one country among many, for example, just as Britain is not. Americans feel strong ties of history, religion, culture and, yes, sentiment, that the authors recognize, but only in an airy, abstract way. They also seem to feel that, with Israel and its lobby pushed to the side, the desert will bloom with flowers. A peace deal with Syria would surely follow, with a resultant end to hostile activity by Hezbollah and Hamas. Next would come a Palestinian state, depriving Al Qaeda of its principal recruiting tool. (The authors wave away the idea that Islamic terrorism thrives for other reasons.) Well, yes, Iran does seem to be a problem, but the authors argue that no one should be particularly bothered by an Iran with nuclear weapons. And on and on. “It is time,” Mr. Mearsheimer and Mr. Walt write, “for the United States to treat Israel not as a special case but as a normal state, and to deal with it much as it deals with any other country.” But it’s not. And America won’t. That’s realism. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | | | leaking32 | | Posted: Fri Sep 07, 2007 2:37 am Post subject: |

| Have you ever seen a so-called" militray mistake explained, incident explained and procedures defined publicly (I doubt it was truthful in any regard) concerning nuclear weapons, punishmeant and discipline also mentioned aka "Nothing to see , move along" as quickly as this story? The military rarely moves that way. The US military never discusses nuclear weapon deployments, movements, etc unless a lot has changed. | LONG LIST OF CONNECTED DOTS FROM BARKSDALE NUKES TO DEATHS OF POLITICOS...IT APPEARS A MAJOR OPERATION IS ONGOING - WHO'S BEHIND IT? FOR WHAT PURPOSE? Posted By: Rayelan <Send E-Mail> Date: Thursday, 6 September 2007, 8:53 p.m. Note from Rayelan: This comes from a long time informed reader. If you ONLY read one thing today... PLEASE read ALL of this!! This reader has put the dots out... NOW... it's up to ALL of us to connect them. Hi Raye, Sorry for the length of the following, but just too many overlapping threads to ignore. Many coinciding news items look like some sort of operation has occured over the past few days. Wonder where Jack Bauer has been lately? The errant USAF Nukes were headed to Barksdale AFB. The internet indicates that Barksdale AFB is home to the Air Force's cyberspace command center, responsible for maintaining secure cyberspace command structure for all of AF's computers, networks, and networked weaponry. 3 days after the inadvertent nukes were pointed at Barksdale, the pentagon reported that their cyberspace was hacked by someone in China back in June 2007. (Were they still being hacked on Aug 30, but kept quiet to set a trap? A trap that was sprung only after the hacked loading procedures command was sent to Minot?) Were hackers in China responsible for the loading of the nukes on the B52? One might presume the AF has a semi-automatic supply chain procedure where orders are supplied over a "secure" AF network. For example, flight techs at Minot AFB receive a digital command to load 5-6 of part no. ABC123 onto bomber no. XYZ. As it turns out could that order have been hacked, and intended to load certain faceless missiles on that B52 heading to Barksdale, homebase of the AF anti-cyberhackers? If so, unbeknownst to the techs following the USAF cyber-based procedures, those faceless missiles were carrying live nukes...now pointed directly at Barksdale. Imagine the hackers chuckling about that hack. Message delivered. Now look at the time line of some recent events. I don't know what it points to, other than that it looks like some sort of major op just occurred involving the Air Force, certain members of Congress, Boeing, weather, global terror ops. Aug 27, Atty General Gonzalez quits. Aug 27, Senator Larry Craig (finally) publicly flogged for lewd conduct commited in JUNE 2007 (same time frame as original chinese pentagon hacks, hmmm) (someone held onto this info for release on this later date, hmmm) All eyes diverted to this "scandal". Aug 27, motorcycle policeman dies escorting W's motorcade back to Albuquerque airport. Same as in Hawaii in Nov 2006. W then visits Seattle for 2 hours before flying to Reno for dinner. Not far from where Fossett goes missing a couple days later. Aug 28, India invites bids for $10 Billion worth of military jets. Boeing, as well as companies from France, Russia, Lockheed, Sweden, and Euro., are expected to bid. Aug 29, W visits NOLA on Katrina anniversary. Aug 29, Air Force "combat weatherman" John Frueh goes missing in Portland Ore while visiting from FLA. His last cell phone call was on Aug 30 from Vancouver, hmmm near W's visit 2 days earlier. Story at: http://blog.oregonlive.com/breakingnews/2007/09/portland_police_seek_air_for ce.html Weather prediction and modification is certainly an important aspect of modern combat tactics. Both for movement of forces and optimization of communications, satellite intel, and possible use of scalar atmospheric technologies. Chemtrails have been alluded to as one likely way to manipulate the weather and to create an optimized atmospherics for advanced detection and/or scalar technologies. A combat seasoned Air Force "combat weatherman" would have insight into some of the above. BTW, the preferred military aircraft for conducting continuous chemtrail spraying appears to be the workhorses built by Boeing, including the C130 transport. The RR archives and internet have reports of many alleged scandals involving Boeing and a long list of pentagon brass, congressmen, judges in Chicago, lobbyists, and foreign heads of state. Aug 30, USAF techs blindly following digitized procedures/commands put ABC missiles on XYZ bomber headed to Barksdale AFB, homebase for the Air Force cyberspace and anti-hacking operations for entire Air Force. If a nuke went off at Barksdale, would our Air Force have been blinded to further cyber-hack commands waiting in the wings? Probably. (Announced Sept 6, Entire USAF air command grounded on Sept 14 to review adequacy of its "procedures" (digitized? web-based? procedures) Aug 30, Charles Vanik D-OH 90+ year old former congressman dies in his sleep in Jupiter FL. Had a long institutional memory of the early years of the cold war, and the environment that gave rise to Boeing and the MIC. Aug 31, Rove's last day on job. Sept 2, W leaves DC under cover of darkness and with minimal security detail to begin a surprise trip to visit Iraq. Sept 3, Pentagon releases report that China hacked computer networks in JUNE 2007. In following days, the European MSM reports that China also hacked British, French, and German govt security networks. USAF cyberspace control center is located at Barksdale AFB. Sept 3, aviator Steve Fossett's plane goes missing in western Nevada while "looking for a dry lake bed" for future work. Air Force rescue command at Langley AFB VA oversees search ops. Sept 3-4, German converts to Islam busted for planning bombing of a US AFB, and unnamed targets in US. Sept 4, Congressman Paul Gillmor R-OH found dead in his home at age 68 in DC. Long history with Air Force judge advocate general corps (front door for AF intel operations). Gillmor had lobbied Boeing a few years ago to build new facility in Ohio to manufacture the new 787 "Dreamliner". Boeing did not. But in Jan 13, 2006, Gillmor headed a delegation to meet and discuss trade with India's PM. 2 days earlier, India announced it had awarded Boeing an $8B contract to build commercial jets. Did Gillmor grease the skids before his trip? Sept 4, Lewd Senator Larry Craig reneges on decision to step down and seeks to stay in power. In 2003 Craig held up the promotion of hundreds of USAF officers. Craig wanted USAF to hold to a previous pork deal to provide some Boeing C130 transports (chemtrail sprayers?) to the Idaho Natl Guard. Was Craig trying to push USAF around again? Was that threat eliminated when Gillmor dropped from the picture? Sept 5, former Congressman Jennifer Dunn R-OH dies of a sudden "embolism" in her home at age 66 in DC. Dunn oversaw congressional review of Boeing-Pentagon contracting procedures, especially in regards to irregularities involving purchase of C130 transports (chemtrail sprayers). She was also co-chair of DHS oversight. After leaving Congress in 2005, she maintained her Virginia residence, and did not return to her native Washington state, indicating she found other lucrative work within the military industrial complex, or within ops for one of the factions. Boeing is based in Washington state, and likely made her election possible. Did she not want to live under that umbrella again? Sept 5, Boeing announces 787 Dreamliner production will be delayed for a couple of months, citing problems with assembly and "finalizing flight-control software". Was something wrong with the updated version of global hawk software (software that allows remote control of a pilotless jet)? Was the software susceptible to hackers? Hmmmm... 9/11 WTC technology? Sept 5, USAF announces it will ground all its aircraft in order to reveiw "procedures"...procedures for preventing hacking of command and control of USAF assets? Air Force command at Langley AFB VA oversees search ops. (Same AFB looking for Fossett). What do you make of that? NOTE FROM RAYELAN: Make sure to check the threads. New pieces of the puzzle are being added as we find them. We are also trying to explain the 100 war between the Federal Reserve Predators who control the world, and the group that has been trying to take them down since the late 1800s... a group we at RMN refer to as FACTION TWO... | 6 nuclear warheads fly over U.S. B-52 bomber, accidentally armed with warheads, went over several states The Associated Press Updated: 11:43 a.m. PT Sept 5, 2007 WASHINGTON - A B-52 bomber was mistakenly armed with six nuclear warheads and flown for more than three hours across several states last week, prompting an Air Force investigation and the firing of one commander, Pentagon officials said Wednesday. Rep. Ike Skelton, chairman of the House Armed Services Committee, called the mishandling of the weapons “deeply disturbing” and said the committee would press the military for details. Rep. Edward J. Markey, a senior member of the Homeland Security committee, said it was “absolutely inexcusable.” “Nothing like this has ever been reported before and we have been assured for decades that it was impossible,” said Markey, D-Mass., co-chair of the House task force on nonproliferation. The plane was carrying Advanced Cruise Missiles from Minot Air Force Base, N.D, to Barksdale Air Force Base, La., on Aug. 30, said the officials, who spoke on condition of anonymity because of a Defense Department policy not to confirm information on nuclear weapons. The missiles, which are being decommissioned, were mounted onto pylons on the bomber’s wings and it is unclear why the warheads had not been removed beforehand. Earlier, the Associated Press erroneously reported the bomber was armed with only five warheads. Investigation to take weeks The Air Combat Command has ordered a command-wide stand down on Sept. 14 to review procedures, officials said. They said there was minimal risk to crews and the public because of safety features designed into the munitions. In addition to the munitions squadron commander who was relieved of his duties, crews involved with the mistaken load — including ground crew workers — have been temporarily decertified for handling munitions, one official said. The investigation is expected to take several weeks. The incident was first reported by Military Times newspaper group. “There is no more serious issue than the security and proper handling of nuclear weapons,” Skelton said in a statement Wednesday. “The American people, our friends, and our potential adversaries must be confident that the highest standards are in place when it comes to our nuclear arsenal.” Skelton, D-Mo., said his committee will pursue answers on the classified matter “to ensure that the Air Force and the Department of Defense address this particular incident and strengthen controls more generally.” URL: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/20427730/?GT1=10357 | | | | Alpha | | Posted: Sat Sep 08, 2007 11:04 am Post subject: |

Edited on Thu Sep-06-07 03:50 PM by Rick Myers I decided to dig a little deeper into the story about nuclear weapons 'accidentally' loaded onto a B-52 and have found some disturbing information buried in an unclassified USAF budget document. Below you will find some of the significant text and a link to the entire ultra-dull report from the Pentagon. But here are some bullet points to consider (tin foil optional): -- We were TOLD these weapons were being moved to be decomissioned. THAT IS NOT TRUE! This current USAF doc says the missiles are being 'refitted' to extend their service life until fiscal year 2030! These are state of the art weapons. The service plan even includes upgrading the W-80 warheads to keep them IN SERVICE. -- If you read the first sentence below, you will see how the USAF decribes these weapons as "designed to evade air and ground-based defenses in order to strike heavily defended, hardened targets at any location within any enemy's territory." Humm... What sort of operation would require such ordanance? -- We have only 38 of these weapons, so 5 of them is a large chunk of the inventory to move at once. -- It is MY OPINION that some 'patriot' leaked the info about these weapons movements. A warning? -- It is also my opinion these weapons were being moved for some other reason, to Barksdale, and then possibly on to Diego Garcia, for obvious reasons. IT IS TIME TO BE VERY AFRAID! The UK intercepted 8 Russian bombers yesterday, which has not happened in about 15 years. Syria fired on 4 or 5 Israeli aircraft that violated that violated Syrian airspace and dropped fuel tanks in the desert... Dr. Strangelove is alive and well... (snip} AGM-129 Advanced Cruise Missile (ACM) is a low-observable air-launched strategic missile with significant improvements over the Air Launched Cruise Missile B version (ALCM-B) in range, accuracy and survivability. Armed with a W-80 warhead, it is designed to evade air and ground-based defenses in order to strike heavily defended, hardened targets at any location within any enemy's territory. The ACM is designed for B-52H external carriage and there are currently 394 ACM in the inventory. The ACM fleet design service life expires between the years 2003 and 2008. A Service Life Extension Plan (SLEP) was developed to meet an AF Long Range Plan requirement to extend ACM Service Life to FY30. Range Commanders Council (RCC) test range safety requirements (RCC-319) and Department of Energy's (DOE) redesign of the Joint Test Assembly (JTA) is driving modification of existing Joint Test Instrumentation Kit (JTIK) test doors. Newly modified JTIK test doors will incorporate Global Positioning System (GPS) tracking capability and components removed from the redesigned JTA package. Without modified JTIK doors, the ACM cannot maintain its DOE nuclear certification, support the W-80 warhead Life Extension Program (LEP) or conduct flight testing used to collect weapon system reliability data. The requirement exists to provide modified Test Instrumentation Kits (TIKs) to support Functional Ground Test (FGT). FGT will provide a critical capability to the Air Force and provide a means of testing the ACM without the loss of an asset. These tests will provide important reliability data for Service Life Extension analysis. Kit modification and unique spare components will be procured to support tests in the FGT facility. | Forwarded: Subject: MOST URGENT I have just gotten this report from a very high level source close to the investigation at Barksdale AFB. We must take this very seriously..... “THE BARKSDALE INCIDENT” The investigation of the B-52 nuclear missile transfer to Barksdale AFB has brought the spotlight on the transportation of America ’s nuclear weapons. One of the Air Force officers, who shall remain anonymous and spent 24 years in the Air Force, stated that the weapons would need to pass from the weapon storage area through security that would require a convoy…..with security involved. The Base Commander must authorize this movement before the weapons are removed from their storage area. A mission order must authorize the uploading onto an aircraft when real nukes are involved. The aircraft would, during the upload, be subject to a change of security status. Access to the aircraft would only be permitted to crew certified on orders, authenticated by certain officers. Finally, the aircraft would not be released without command authority from the Base Commander. The original plan was to transport non-nuclear Advanced Cruise Missiles, mounted on the wings of a B-52, to Barksdale as part of a Defense Department effort to decommission 400 of the ACMs. It was not discovered that the six missiles had nuclear warheads until the plane landed at Barksdale, leaving the warheads unaccounted for during the approximately 3 1/2 hour flight between the two bases, the officers said. The Department of Defense keep track of the nuclear arsenal bu computer. Instead of transporting them by bombers they transport them by cargo C-17, C-130, and C-5 boxed to save taxpayers money. The most confusing part of this investigation was that First “It was originally reported that five nuclear warheads were transported. But officers who tipped off the Military Times to the incident, who have asked to remain anonymous since they are not authorized to discuss the incident, have since updated that number to six.” Second, “These missiles would have had their warheads removed and boxed up for shipping and the missile body itself would have been boxed up and both items would have been shipped out on an C-17, C-130 and C-5. This was the only way we could have shipped them not on an B-52.” Third, “There are 2 small windows on an ACM where you can see the warhead which is about the size of a dime” Four, “Officials at Minot immediately conducted an inventory of its nuclear weapons after the oversight was discovered, and one officer said he could confirm that all remaining nuclear weapons at Minot are accounted for.” “Then why are there 5 or 6 missiles already at Barksdale AFB when Minot “confirmed that all remaining nuclear weapons at Minot are accounted for?” During the life of the Strategic Air Command (SAC) from 1946 to 1992 there were very few nuclear weapons ever “lost”. When they were lost it was declared a “BORKEN ARROW” and no effort was spared in recovering those “Broken Arrows”. One was lost at sea, otherwise, all were recovered. This “Barksdale Incident” must be thoroughly investigated by both the Inspector General of the US Air Force as well as the U.S. Congress. It must never happen again. One officer was told that they are planning on having a staging area to bomb Iran to create an “October Surprise”. This staging area seems to be a secret base in Iraq from which nuclear weapons are being taken from Barksdale. We are told this plan has been spearheaded by Vice President Chaney. This will lead to an even wider war that will involve not only Iran but other countries as well. It would be a disaster for the United States and our foreign policy. | | | | | ©2002-2009 WarWithoutEnd.co.uk |
