| Alan Greenspan says it's all about oil, but personally I thought retirement meant shutting the fuck up... Oh wait... Sorry. Forgot where I was. Guess retirement doesn't mean shutting the fuck up. | | | | Alpha | | Posted: Tue Sep 18, 2007 9:55 am Post subject: |
| And as if the Zionist Jew Greenspan will give the actual reason (Israel!) for the war... Especially with more and more attention being brought to such (just saw yesterday that the Mearsheimer and Walt book is already 12th on the New York Times Bestseller list despite the virtual black-out of it in the Zionist controlled/influenced US press/media!). Listen to the initial listener call for Mearsheimer and Walt this past Sunday on Ian Masters' 'Live from the Left Coast' program which will be archived at www.ianmasters.org soon if not already and is already archived at www.kpfk.org Listen to Walt's comment about how the war wasn't for oil.. Of course not because the primary motivation was to secure the realm for Israel (killing/maiming many American soldiers/marines in the process) and profiteering in the process... http://www.nowarforisrael.com http://nomorewarforisrael.blogspot.com | | | | MythozDog | | Posted: Tue Sep 18, 2007 2:38 pm Post subject: |
| FF: Soon we will be back in the jungle with lots of gadgets that don't work. A giant leap backwards for all mankind and women. You're right about that part, FF, anyway. We will be set back a thousand years if Islams Imans have their way. They don't really care about how they drag humanity to that point... whether it is through Intimidation & Conquest...or War. Given the latter, knowing full well, this will ultimately destroy most of civilization...the West (hopefully)...if not "All". But its worth the risk to them, thinking Allah will reward them... by giving a big assist, and they will be dragging themselves out of the rubble to establish a glorous NIWO. I hope they are prepared for the hidious, ugly truth that will reveal itself with this aftermath. Truth telling, in here, and around the world has become a lost art. Partial truths and out right lies lead the way to this ultimate, final finale. | | | | Alpha | | Posted: Tue Sep 18, 2007 6:00 pm Post subject: Why They Won’t Debate U.S. Mideast Policy |
| Why They Won’t Debate U.S. Mideast Policy A FELLOW IN UPSTATE NEWYORK is mailing journalists in America asking us to pressure the powers that be to hold a presidential debate on the subject of America’s Middle East policy. The debate is an excellent idea. After all, we are fighting a war there, and the bulk of our problem with Middle East terrorism derives from our foreign policy, which can be summarized as supporting Israel’s terrible treatment of the Palestinians while pretending to be interested in peace. That is no longer the entire source of hostility, since the Bush administration has invaded two Muslim countries and is threatening war with a third, but the topic of our Middle East policy certainly deserves an airing and a full debate. Alas, it will never happen. This might surprise you, but the reluctance of American politicians to hold an open debate on America’s foreign policy in the Middle East is not the fault of the Israeli lobby. Oh, the American Israel Public Affairs Committee prefers to avoid any debate, but AIPAC couldn’t stop one if the presidential candidates insisted on having it. Support for Israel in this country is more complicated than just AIPAC. There is the real AIPAC and there is the exaggerated belief in AIPAC’s influence by most American politicians and not a few media people. Then there is the Israeli government itself. Next, there are American neo-conservatives, many but not all of whom are Jewish and who have an unhealthy personal attachment to Israel. Finally, there is the cult of the Christian Zionists, who believe the Messiah can return only when all the world’s Jews have gathered in Israel. One would think a Messiah could return anytime he darn well felt like returning, but don’t worry about it, all the world’s Jews don’t want to move to Israel. As for the presidential debate, I think many of the candidates would develop scheduling conflicts, and those who didn’t would simply engage in a contest of who loves Israel the most. That’s what happens when American politicians visit AIPAC’s annual meeting. It’s “I love Israel,” and the next candidate says, “I love Israel even more.” There is such a frenzy of loving Israel, it’s a wonder that members of the Israeli consular staff don’t get swept up and kissed. Jewish political influence stems from two factors. One, Jews tend to put their money where their mouth is. In contradiction to the stereotypes, Jews who can afford it are unusually generous givers, not only to politicians but to causes, charities and organizations they believe in. They set an example of generosity all Americans would do well to follow. The second factor is just an accident of geography. America’s Jews are largely concentrated in a few states with a lot of votes in the Electoral College—NewYork, Illinois, Ohio, California and Florida. In very close races, the Jewish vote could tip a state toward one candidate or another. Since most states have a winner-take all system, Jewish voters are courted by the politicians. The same thing applies to black voters, of course. © 2007 BY KING FEATURES SYNDICATE Charley Reese is a nationally syndicated columnist. | Much off-topic diversion here, particularly by Alpha now, which is hardly a surprise. Let's get the string back on topic, shall we? Terrorists thank Cindy: You light up our lives Islamists: Sheehan 'gives us hope' U.S. will change Mideast policies -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Posted: September 16, 2007 9:10 p.m. Eastern © 2007 WorldNetDaily.com Cindy Sheehan at Washington D.C. anti-war march, Sept. 15 (Photo: © Carrie Devorah) Muslim terrorist leaders are "thankful" for the efforts of activist and congressional candidate Cindy Sheehan, stating in a new book Sheehan's anti-Iraq war activities and her statements against President Bush "give us hope" the U.S. will change its Mideast policies. "You [Sheehan] give us hope and you show us that there are different Americans than those whom we know," stated Ramadan Adassi, chief of the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades terror group in the West Bank's Anskar Refugee Camp. "This sincere woman says what we've been saying all these last years – Saddam never threatened America or its security. Now Iraq is being decimated and America is losing. Voices like Sheehan's show things can change," said Adassi. Adassi and other terror leaders were quoted sounding off about Sheehan in the recently released "Schmoozing with Terrorists: From Hollywood to the Holy Land Jihadists Reveal their Global Plans – to a Jew!," by author and WND Jerusalem bureau chief Aaron Klein. Adassi's Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades took responsibility, along with the Islamic Jihad terror group, for every suicide bombing in Israel the past three years. It also carried out scores of fatal shootings and hundreds of rocket attacks against Jewish population centers. According to "Schmoozing with Terrorists," jihad leaders interviewed about Sheehan were thankful for the anti-war activist's activities. Klein states in his book he read to the terrorists quotes from the outspoken mother of fallen U.S. Army specialist Casey Sheehan. Among the quotes highlighted for the terrorists were statements calling Bush "the biggest terrorist in the world" and "worse than Osama bin Laden," and Sheehan's labeling of Iraqi insurgents multiple times as "freedom fighters." Terrorist: 'I thank Sheehan from the deep of my heart' Palestinian terrorist leaders were elated to hear Sheehan blamed the Iraq war on Israel, according to Klein. In a letter to ABC News' "Nightline" published on the Internet, Sheehan wrote: "Am I emotional? Yes, my first born was murdered. Am I angry? Yes, he was killed for lies and for a neo-con agenda to benefit Israel. My son joined the army to protect America, not Israel." Responding in "Schmoozing," Ala Senakreh, overall West Bank chief of the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, stated: "I agree with her completely and thank her from deep in my heart when she dares to tell the Americans that their children are killed for the interests of Israel. "The American security has nothing to do with the atrocities in Iraq and in Palestine. I tell this noble mother that American soldiers and Israeli soldiers receive common training and share their experience in how to turn these atrocities even more cruel. You are losing your sons not for a better life for you, but for Israeli interests," stated Senakreh. Abu Hamed, leader of the Al Aqsa Brigades in the northern Gaza Strip, urged Americans to listen to Sheehan. "I hope that all the Americans will understand what this great mother understood. We hope you do not consider this mother as a humanitarian case who speaks from her own pain, because she is saying the truth. I hope you will take her as a good example." Sheehan first attracted international news media attention in August 2005 for her extended antiwar demonstration at a makeshift protest camp she erected about three miles outside Bush's Texas ranch. Sheehan has since organized multiple tours and rallies against the Iraq war, was arrested for protesting at Bush's May 2007 State of the Union Address, spoke out in Europe and South America and has made statements some critics say defend jihad. In May, Sheehan stated she would officially end her anti-Iraq war activism, but she resumed her efforts in July. Last week, Sheehan spoke at an anti-war protest in Washington and was arrested in a House office building for allegedly interrupting the congressional testimony of Gen. David H. Petraeus, commander of the Multi-National Force in Iraq. Sheehan last month announced her candidacy as an independent for California's eighth Congressional district against House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. | | | | funglefoot | | Posted: Wed Sep 19, 2007 8:31 am Post subject: |
