| Exactly! But that does not mean my claim was incorrect does it? I was reporting what I saw at the time. I also claimed that the poll was being manipulated. Do you agree? Can we agree? | | | | dayvid | | Posted: Sat Sep 02, 2006 11:50 pm Post subject: |

| I can't stop laughing! Sad or what? Hehe! But lets be SERIOUS now, watching this poll has revealed how manipulated the poll is so we should not be manipulated by the results. It's quite serious when a poll that asks whether free speech should be abandoned to protect a minority ends up looking fixed, don't you agree? Free speech is one of the planks of democracy, if we take that away, we destabilize it. if a poll like this can influence the decision makers then we need to be very concerned. It should be clear that UK democracy has been transformed into a delegative government where the leaders do pretty much whatever they wish. The leader and his crew can say or do whatever they want. The voting public are now consumers with one shot at expressing their wish for this govt or that, every four years. Then we have to go home and shut up until the next election. We, as individuals, can no longer affect the parliamentary process. By the way, it was accidentally that I started watching the poll. Firstly, I don't know whether you noticed but there is no way to check whether your vote has been registered or not. Interesting... I had kept my original window to the vote open and had noticed that. Then I saw Bolero's post and noticed how the vote for the YES had not changed in that time... I found that interesting (yes, I am sad! hehe!) at that point I decided to watch. I can't help it!!!! I crave truth. | | | | smallaxe | | Posted: Sun Sep 03, 2006 12:07 am Post subject: |

| smallaxe All on line polls are manipulated on way or another. You should realise that they have no credibility, regardless of the subject matter. Dayvid | | | | smallaxe | | Posted: Sun Sep 03, 2006 12:18 am Post subject: |
| | I know Dayvid! Watching this poll was an experiment, I have conducted others like this. So, maybe you can see it does serve its purposes, whether the rest of the world thinks its sad or not! | | | | Shamgar | | Posted: Sun Sep 03, 2006 1:27 am Post subject: |
