| This writing by American Jew Jack Bernstein is a must read as it was written in 1984 but mentions how the Zionists have control of the government and media in the USA (and Bernstein also mentions how the Zionists in Israel and in the US government influence wars to occur for Israel losing the lives of American soldiers and marines in the process like we are going to experience with the coming invasion of Iraq: http://www.warwithoutend.co.uk/middle-east-and-asia/2002/11/19/life-of-an-american-jew-in-racist-marxist-israel.php | | | | *Mutt American | | Posted: Mon Dec 30, 2002 3:23 am Post subject: |
| Though the established organizations were advocates of the Arab cause, and thus helpful to Aramco, the oil companies went a step further in one case: as disclosed by the Washington Post in 1975, Aramco created a nonprofit organization called Americans for Middle East Understanding (AMEU).[15] It has received, and continues to receive, most of its funding from Aramco and foreign governments, according to internal company documents and IRS records. In the sixteen years of its existence, AMEU has evolved into a major organization within the Arab lobby. Its operations demonstrate how much Aramco has received as a return from its investment. Among its principal activities, AMEU publishes a bimonthly newsletter, the Link, which has a regular circulation of 50,000. In some years, as many as 100,000 additional copies of the newsletter or other AMEU publications have been sent out. The recipients include clergy, libraries, universities, academics, businessmen, high school teachers, State Department officials, and members of Congress and their staffs. In past issues, reference to Israel has been uniformly critical, focusing on charges of "human rights violations," denial of academic freedom, the power of the "Israel lobby," and a highly opinionated recounting of the "USS Liberty Affair" -- the incident in which Israel attacked a U.S. ship during the 1967 War -- seventeen years after it happened. References to the Arab world have accentuated only the positive: "Jordan Steps Forward," for example, and "Kuwait: Prosperity from a Sea of Oil." In 1981, AMEU actively promoted the sale of the advanced radar technology planes to Saudi Arabia. AMEU's book list, which it offers at subsidized prices to the public, is a highly selective one that aims to disparage Israel, Zionism, and even American Jews. According to descriptions in AMEU's publications, the list includes books which "refute the biblical claim of Zionists to the Promised Land," "how Jews have exercised their political power in the United States," and "Zionism's subversive consequences for both Jews inside and outside Israel." 15. Seriously, any concerned American and Brit sincerely wanting to find out what is driving the coming invasion of Iraq needs to read that Jack Bernstein article referenced above. | | | | Guest | | | | Guest | | Posted: Mon Dec 30, 2002 3:29 am Post subject: |
