| From: MERRY Date: Sun, 30 Jun 2002 01:31:48 EDT Subject: Chairman of CNN calls To: JGidusko@cfl.rr.com John, I have to tell you this as i have no one else to tell who could appreciate (the fun? of) it. The phone rang yesterday about 1 pm and i didn't get to it before the machine picked it up and was surprised to hear a voice say "Hello. This is Walter Isaacson, chairman of CNN, calling Joe Boysen". At that point i called to joe to pick it up and they had a lovely 10 minute talk. Joe had called him to say he hoped the planned show re the victims of terrorism included victims worldwide, not just Israelis. (I think in response to carol bradford's letter.) He was caught a little unprepared, as one is when someone calls unexpectedly, and felt a little uncomfortable because WE DIDN'T SEE THE SHOW.... we thought it was to air this coming week. But, he did fine and the message was delivered. He also brought up the pitiful news coverage and lack of same on the 35th anniversary of the Liberty Massacre -- how the only tv coverage was turned into a pitch for the new Israeli "apologist's" book by its' author and the only (that we know of) real news "article" as opposed to "letters to the editor" was by a young rookie in Tarentum, PA. A sad statement for our free press. I feel sure Mr. Isaacson remembers joe's name from an open letter he (joe) wrote to him copying ted turner and the rest of the corporate news world-- his colleagues-- criticizing isaacson for demanding his newscasters make sure they explain the "just cause" for any bodies or collateral damage they show on film during newscasts (in Afghanistan). Joe wondered in his letter if, when dead and wounded Israelis are shown, that the people are told that the Palestinian cause is a just one. Not likely! That was last year but i have a feeling he saw and noted it as it must have caused him embarrassment. A public demand to influence news coverage isn't really "kosher", after all. Actually he was returning a call Joe made to him last week when they were only able to speak briefly as he had caught Isaacson unaware that time and was "hustled" off the phone before he was ready to hang up. Ergo the return call. I just thought it was a kick to have the chairman of cnn calling here... not a typical thing. I've included Joe's original letter to Isaacson last Novermber as below: Merry ------------------------------------------------------------- Joe & Merry Boysen, Ashamed American Citizens ***************, Shell Beach, CA 93449 Vengeance Day # 26 Thursday, November 1, 2001 Mr. Walter Isaacson Chairman, CNN Dear Mr. Isaacson, There were two interesting journalism "mini-stories" yesterday, one involving you and the other Mr. David Westin, President of ABC News. Apparently Mr. Westin was "persuaded" to apologize for a remark made to a journalism class wherein he declined to comment regarding the legitimacy of the attack on the Pentagon, or words substantially to this effect. In that he was speaking as a journalist, I believe he had it right the first time and should have been able to leave his answer unmodified. A journalist's job is to describe occurrences in a neutral manner and without value judgment and he was speaking to prospective journalists as the President of ABC News, a journalistic endeavor. By contrast, you got it WRONG in your directive to CNN journalistic personnel when you reportedly cautioned them to remind viewers, whenever CNN is broadcasting pictures of civilian casualties, how evil the Taliban is and how justified our war on Afghanistan is. Dead wrong. I do not believe you were speaking as a journalist and the head of the great worldwide news organisation created by Mr. Ted Turner and which deserves no criticism on this score. I believe you were speaking as an American Jew with primary concern for the state of Israel and desirous of prolonging and enlarging the conflict with Israel's enemies in which the Jewish Lobby has long wished to entangle us and now finally has. I believe that YOU should be "persuaded" to withdraw your comments, immediately prior to your resignation as chairman of CNN. Just ask yourself, should CNN "on air" personnel remind viewers of the just cause the Palestinian resisters have when showing film of the results of one of their "liberation missions"? Somehow I don't think you want our people to have that understanding, not now and not ever. Your "Chairman Walt Decree" is nonsense, embarrassing nonsense. Indeed, rubbish. Unfortunately, it is difficult to get "fair, balanced" news--- no matter how "unafraid" Brit Hume claims to be--- when our news media is so dominated by American Jews who so obviously maintain a strong allegiance to Israel first and who present us with Jewish "experts" and Jewish "analysts" seven out of ten times such people appear on news programs. How dare you attempt, so openly, to further manage the news the people who will be asked to do the killing and dying must rely on? Have you no shame? How could you be so obtuse as to provide confirmatory evidence of what many have known since at least June of 1967, if not from the initial destruction of Palestine in 1948? Have you no sense? We thank you. Even the Pollyannas can see this clumsy hand, so often hidden, deft and indirect. Nonetheless, we are ashamed for our beloved country and deeply bitter toward those in the Jewish Lobby who have brought so much dishonor upon us for so long. God help the United States and deliver us from this evil. DO NOT BETRAY THE USA TO APPEASE A FOREIGN LOBBY! P.S. This is one more reason big outfits like AOL Time Warner, Disney, etc. SHOULD NOT be doing journalism! It demands a unique ethical culture. | there is a current poll (on the bottom right of www.navytimes.com) as to whether the us congress should open an investigation into the intentional and brutal israeli attack on the uss liberty which resulted in the murder of 34 american sailors with 171 more wounded: http://www.ussliberty.org http://home.cfl.rr.com/gidusko/liberty/ Subj: Re: The Butcher of Palestine is not a man of honor Date: 7/1/02 11:49:46 AM Pacific Daylight Time From: MERRY ....But the Navy is not high on my list of Good Guys and doesn't deserve much respect. I felt like a real dope "voting" for what should be DEMANDED and freely GIVEN by the navy! It is insulting that they should even have a poll! I tried to leave a comment but it looked as though one had to be in a branch of the military for it to be meaningful. Today I'm thoroughly disgusted with all these half wits who accept payment from us with one hand and payment from AIPAC with the other. Anyone accepting AIPAC money should be automatically ineligible for holding office in this country. We went through this "Allegiance" business back in the 50's and the jews fought it tooth and nail --- of course! Their primary allegiance is to israel! You can bet they don't allow half of what they demand here in our country to occur in israel which is a theocratic racist military regime with little less than a caste system. Not here! Here they want a PASS from us on all of their bad behavior--- and we give it to them! We agreed to pay salaries to these punks we hire to watch over our country and they are simply not capable of anything other than greed--- certainly not sustained thought. I feel bitter fury that we have to worry about what stupid thing they're going to allow next! I feel like the ugly american today. I feel disheartened and fearful that this country has gone too far down the path of least resistance. I can see that these constant little conflicts all over the world where we go in and try to tell people how they should live and run their countries benefit our "little ally" more than they benefits us and draws our minds off the big picture to the point where i can barely stand to watch it going on anymore. Now i look back and see Serbia as a proving ground to take out Arafat. Our people are ill informed and corrupt and i'm not sure what the answer to that is-- not good. | | | | sharkman | | Posted: Thu Jul 04, 2002 12:31 am Post subject: democracy distorted |
| Subj: Re: Palestine Chronicle: Democracy Distorted Date: 7/3/02 1:42:37 PM Pacific Daylight Time From: MERRY To: drer@execpc.com Dear Dr. Richards, I do have a FAX and will join you in an effort to bring about a bit of justice and fair play in the outlaw "state" of Israel. Even though to me it seems to be an oxymoron. Israel is based on a caste system of it's own "citizens", the Black American Jews living as prisoners in the desert are treated little better than the Palestinians whose homeland it is. After them there is a strict pecking order with the European jews at the top. The United States' continued support of this theocratic, outlaw, military, racist, regime is what breaks my heart. That it can pass itself off as a "democracy" and an "ally" is simply mindboggling and defies explanation to my simple mind. If it is a viable state, why does it continue to suck from our treasury-- from the sweat of our American youth? Why do we allow it? In truth, it's whole "history" has been manufactured and is based on a tissue of deceit and half truths, all of it gained through terrorism and atrocities beginning back with the terrorist Stern Group among others, and with the murder, kidnapping, and assassinations of the British who put out "wanted" posters on many of them, and last but not least by rewriting history and expecting the rest of us to believe it. It steals from us, spies on us, humiliates our leaders, stains our national honor, blames us for its trouble with its neighbors, lies to us with impunity, corrupts our political processes, -- in short it plays dirty in every way. This is not a state that deserves respect or courtesy from any in the civilized world-- and gets none from me. The atrocities perpetrated by this "Never Again" group of outlaws puts the original "Holocaust" to shame and has lasted oh, so much longer! They have selfishly disrupted world peace for over 55 years in their greedy grab for Palestinian land. And they have apparently succeeded in stealing ALL of Palestine by buying off our simple minded politicians (who disgustingly wish to be called "the Honorable" senator so and so... totally without basis! ) via AIPAC and the replacement of any of our legitimate lawmakers who express any balanced opinion which could even remotely be termed "anti-Israel" sentiments. We are now so well "trained" that we fear voicing even our opinions for fear of being stained with the "anti-semitism" smear tactic and threats of being accused of "hate crimes". What a bunch of dopes we have become! We should have learned by now that whoever the American "free" press and television news is currently vilifying probably is on the side of truth and right and the very guy we should be listening to. I am proud of my ancestors and trace back to the Mayflower as you do. I am a member of DAR and other heritage groups and president of the local Colonial Dames XVII Century all of which struggle against obsolescence in this brave new world we inhabit of excessive immigration and English as a second language. But I am not proud of my fellow countrymen who hide their heads and minds in cell phones and sit coms while the Palestinian people fall prey to these real "evildoers" bent on the Theft and Rape of the Palestinian homeland. We have failed to teach our young our own values and relied on the television and corrupted educational system to inculcate them with jewish nonsense. But I believe we are good at heart and once made aware of the basic truths would demand a stop to this world imperialism and bullying of the weaker countries on behalf of this rogue state of israel. The larger problem remains how to fight this deathgrip on our government and culture and put this foreign country back at arm's length where it should be kept. Do we buy our country back on behalf of the American people via a competing organization to AIPAC? Or do we urge the rest of the countries of the world, most of whom are gradually lining up against the evil duo of the United States and Israel--- I would submit the real axis of evil--- to stand up and be counted against us? As a group they could conceivably bring enough pressure to bear to force us to cease the brutality and oppression we bring with our military might in our drive to make clones of ourselves throughout the world. At the minimum such a dramatic development could force the story into the open in our media and at least inform our people of what the world has known for a generation or more. In other words a world organized against us in the United Nations could do us the favor of helping us to awaken Joe Sixpack to the danger we court and the country we've lost while he's been watching Super Bowls and sucking up Budweiser. (And if it's Arizona Bud, he's supplementing the meager senate income of Israel's darling, John McCain and his family. Mr. "Truth Express" son of the original Truth Express, Adm. McCain who orchestrated the USS Liberty coverup.) I'm beginning to think we are like Germany in the 30's. That our only hope to avoid a terrible future is if the rest of the world will stand up to us now and stop us, stop the ZioNazis who have seized control of our beloved America. We have been banging on the doors of the White House and Congress; sending furious (but hopefully civilized) notes and letters to them as well as to the Sec of State, Navy CNO, and others (also to newspapers, television news media puppets), etcetera, etc., etc. and they continue to accept the salaries this country pays them, and they continue to accept AIPAC monies and vote the best interests of israel-- in short, they blithely ignore us. Our hearts are heavy and we see that whether democrat or republican is elected, the Jewish Lobby remains and thrives and continues its business as usual and our country remains the supporter, financier, strong arm for the ersatz, brutal state of israel--- in "solidarity" I believe they said.....a deal with the Devil. Alas, if there were a better country I would apply for citizenship-- but there is none. America is at this time still the best hope, but the American Dream is fading and only a memory in so many ways--- and only a few lines in an old text book to our children who don't really know the freedom we were born into and have lost for them. (I live in "the Peoples' Republic of California" where there are 10 or 12 laws for everything you can think of. We are nearing 35 million people-- if you believe they have any idea of the correct figure-- allowing more to pour in every day, legally and illegally. Of course, our freedoms are being curtailed! ) But, like the guy who called Capitol Hill "Israeli occupied territory", anyone who brings up population control or immigration control is vilified and "blacked out" newswise. We are becoming the next Serbia-- I think by design-- to weaken us from within into little groups all trying to "vote" our own interests. A classic divide and conquer strategy the better to rule us--- is this not clear to some of us? Voting makes me feel foolish anymore. What do I care if they wave red, white and blue, or white, blue and red? Or simply white and blue-- the color scheme that fires the hearts of these traitorous scoundrels, an America with the red blood of her Patriots drained out! It's all the same. Yes, I feel foolish playing the game, but I will answer your call. Your friend, Merry Boysen PS I beg you to read "The Zionist Connection" by Alfred Lilienthal. It is like giving a quart of blood to read it, but is a must. | | | | | ©2002-2009 WarWithoutEnd.co.uk |
