Look, I don't entirely disagree with your position on 'traditional values'. In fact, I don't entirely disagree with Muslims' position on 'traditional values'. Why would I as a Catholic?

But they have to be an option, because they just don't necessarily work best for everybody. People have to have a right to prefer something else, and to express and live their preference.

It is the job of people to teach their children values, so that the children can make good decisions as they grow. Too many parents abdicate their role because it can be very difficult when traditional roles are considered politically incorrect.

When you say sensible things like that I don't know why the heck you can't see that we are THE CROOKS who have been controlling the world for so long all last century and we are still doing it and have become even more diabolical with much more lying to ourselves this century .
You being a Catholic older man amazingly can NOT see it and very likely never will - can't you see that we people in the West are way tooooooooooooooo arrogant - we think there is only one true way of being and our way is the only way.

There are good decent catholics but there are a whole heap in our countries that think they can sin all week lying and not doing the right thing and then go to mass on Sunday and get all forgiven and then do it all over again. MAD
